In order to provide the best care for my patients, we feel collaboration between healthcare providers is essential.

This usually means having a signed release in order to communicate with your primary care provider, OB provider if you are pregnant or post-partum, and/or any specialist provider you may see for a chronic condition such as an endocrinologist for diabetes if there are related concerns.
Lab and EKG results are often required to manage medications and/or rule out any medical reasons for mental health symptoms.

Finally, we encourage open lines of communication between a patient's therapist and their medication provider to provide the most holistic care possible.
